Zentangle Class

Last week on Wednesday afternoon I help teach a zentangle class with my grandmother at her retirement community. The community frequently has instructional classes in the clubhouse for the residents. Five people attended and my grandma and I went over the basics. We showed them the art we've created and we printed out some sample sheets (like the one below) for them to look at and experiment with patterns. It was a lovely two hours of doodling with relaxing music on. By the end of the class we concluded that anyone is capable of drawing with this style of art. It's unique and everyone will have a different finished product. You do not have to be able to draw a straight line! It's simple - just pick a pattern with dots and curved lines instead!
